AGENDA:
IAA - connecting the industry
For nearly 90 years IAA has been convening global brand leaders, in a trusted space, to enable the exchange of ideas, acceleration of progress and expansion of cross-border relationships.
IAA Public Policy Council
A core value of IAA is to advocate for healthy and responsible industry self regulation. This topic is addressed though thought leadership discussion, data and insight, lead by the IAA Public Policy council.
Purpose of the meeting
IAA is developing "AI & the Future of Advertising", a framework of principles built around eight open questions across four themes:
Global Perspectives & Advocacy
Learning & Collaboration
Creativity & Innovation
Sustainability, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
Each question includes space for direct member contributions (ranging from 50–150 word reflections to featured longer-form perspectives), designed to surface real industry viewpoints rather than a single IAA position. We'd like to bring this to the Public Policy Council as a discussion item: working through the questions together to capture the Council's collective expertise directly in the report, with individual members credited as contributors.
Participation in this will give our Council members and guests the opportunity for:
Attribution: Contributions to this thought leadership piece will be credited by name, role, and company, with a dedicated contributors slide.
Visibility: The report will be shared across IAA markets around the world, containing single sharp points of view discussed in the meeting.
Contribution to IAA advocacy: As we are not prescribing one position, the members can be part of the varied global perspectives on what "responsible AI in advertising" actually means.
Peer to peer discussion: The chance to exchange ideas and insights with industry colleagues.
