Accenture XR, CES 2020

At CES 2020 it was a pleasure to be invited to the Accenture suite at the Wynn Resort to interview Raffaella Camera, Accenture XR Team, to learn “What is Coming Next?” for the event planning business.

Humans experience the world in a 3D spatial manner thus it makes sense to plan all of the intricate “puzzle pieces” that go into event planning.

Pre-visualization and XR telepresence utilized for planning events provides distributed teams with new ways to collaborate, share ideas and plan intricate events and spaces. This new approach will save both time and money. These are key metrics for the enterprise to rapidly adopt the new XR ecosystem of technologies.

The event business is a massive opportunity that is ripe for disruption with the creative blending of new XR technology such as 3D modeling, virtual reality, augmented reality and telepresence. Today new “all-in-one” VR headsets from HTC Vive and other brands have opened up VR spatial visualization headsets to both enterprise and consumer markets.

At CES 2020 “Augmented Reality” ranked #1 in the BuzzMetrics Trend Report. AR Startups such as Nreal showcased new AR glasses with price points that make these new augmented reality visualization tools affordable.  We live in exciting times where the future is here in 2020!
