Mr. Pradeep Guha discusses the ideas behind the overarching theme “Brand Dharma” of the 2019 IAA World Congress in Kochi, India. “Dharma” has become the team-building consciousness for its global appeal and yet intrinsically Indian in spirit. Although “Dharma” has multiple meanings in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism, it essentially encompasses ideas such as duty, righteousness, responsibility, virtue and all behaviors considered correct and morally upright in society. According to Mr. Guda, becoming a good citizen brand is not an alternative but a necessity for good business.
